Dear Coach,

We would like to invite you to this spring's 9th annual Bay Area Relays, hosted by Foothill High School, which will be scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Located near the I-580 and I-680 intersection (and very easy to get to no matter what direction you are traveling from), Foothill High provides a fantastic location for the relays. The facilities feature an 8 lane all-weather track with rail, complete and automatic FinishLynx timing system, and large-screen video and digital scoreboard for finishing times and marks.

The meet will be filled with amazing relay races and individual events rarely run in Northern California, including:

• • 1 mile run

  • 4 x 200m Relay

  • 4 x 800m Relay

We also have the traditional 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m races to the event.

All field events (long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, high jump, and pole vault) are also contested and are contested as a field relay (add the marks from each individual on a team to get the team's "mark").

Full details of the meet are on our website, www.bayarearelays.com. Entries for the meet will be open on ca.milesplit.com. Schools will be able to enter 3 teams per running event and up to 4 athletes per field event, and we have both a Frosh/Soph and Varsity division.
